To Order

So if you are ready to call one of these beautiful dogs your own, you're just about ready. There are a few more things you should know though. We offer two types of Dogo quality: Show/Breed quality, and Pet quality. Here is a brief run down of each.

Show QualityA show quality dog is free from all imperfections that would keep it from being a perfect breeding dog. These dogs will have an excellent physical appearance and form along with all of the qualities and traits the Dogos are known for.

Pet Quality:  A pet quality dog would be perfect for a companion pet, hunting dog and guard dog. These dogs still have the gentle nature and poise of the show dogs, but do not meet with the show or breeding qualifications.

To determine the quality of each dog, a series of tests are performed when the dogs reach 16 weeks of age. It is at this age that testing for any irregularities is possible to successfully detect. For this reason, no Dogo will be sold before it reaches 16 weeks of age.

Included in the tests conducted is the Baer Test, which determines if the dog is deaf in one or both ears. All tests are performed at A&M University in College Station.
